Money Arguments

 

Conflict regarding money is one of the most contentious disagreements that can arise in a marriage. Compared to other touchy topics, couples’ arguments about money tend to be more intense, more problematic, and more likely to remain unresolved.

Every person holds unique beliefs about how money should be spent, managed, and dealt with. Something instilled in us from our parents and experiences, creating, what I like to refer to them as: money attitudes.

Although we tend to marry people who have different money attitudes compared to ourselves, the key to money conflict is simple. It’s all in how you communicate about it!
